FINLAND was one of the first countries which decided to join the competition in this year´s December (host city is yet to be decided)! The North European country will perform with some great and popular artists in the first edition...

... Softengine! The popular Finnish rockband, which already represented Finland in the Contest in Copenhagen earlier this year, will try their luck again in an Eurovision event... in the same year! This time with another song of course... Yellow House is released in this year´s June and a bang of a rock song!

SWITZERLAND - the country of the Alps are the first to confirm!

SWITZERLAND is the first country to confirm their participation for the first End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest! The country of Alps will debut at the very first edition - just like in the other big Eurovision event which takes place every year in May! 

In the first edition of the End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest Switzerland will send the Swiss soul singer Ira May. She´ll sing the first confirmed EOTYESC song ever - the catchy song Bigger Plan! You can listen to the song here:

Welcome to the End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest!

The end of the year is approaching and people are looking back to an amazing year with some very good songs. Wouldn´t it be awesome to put the best songs of countries together in one amazing show? Excactly what I was thinking - yes! The End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest will be a Song Contest from fans, for fans, with songs from all around Europe with the most amazing songs of the year. An every year-returning Song Contest which will take place in the first two weeks of December. Song submissions are in October and November. 

Do you want to participate?

Don´t be shy and send an e-mail to endoftheyearsongcontest@gmail or DM Timselvision (@CalmAfterTheTim), we won´t bite and it will be fun! If you know which country you´ll use for the competition, but not yet which song, the country will be reserved for you.

One rule, the song that you send can only be from 2014 or December 2013. Also, the country you take must be European. Countries that are in Europe, but are not participating at the Eurovision Song Contest in May each year are also able to participate. 

Like as we said before, song and country submissions are till the end of November. Excact date will be given when the deadline will approach. The Contest will start at the 1st day of December.
