ICELAND - the most Nordic country of Europe debuts in the first edition!


ICELAND joins in the first edition too! They´ll be fighting for Reykjavic 2015 with Kaleo, with a calm song from the popular Icelandic indie / rock band Kaleo who will sing All the Pretty Girls.

ALBANIA - another well-known artist will join in Athens!


ALBANIA will send a for Eurovision fans well known artist for the first End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest. Shortly after the Ukrainean runner-up from 2008 was revealed, it was time for Albania to confirm Anjeza Shahini as their debuting entrant. She was the first Albanian to reach their first top 10 position - at their debut! Will she be able to manage to do the same this year?

Anjeza Shahini will sing the beautiful Albanian ballad Uje ne Shkretire. You can listen to it here below:

UKRAINE - Ani Lorak tries another Eurovision event!



They were sadly withdrawed for the Eurovision event for May in 2015, but they wouldn´t deny us their great music! And they wouldn´t be sad to be host the next edition! Kiev will be sending a famous Ukrainean music star to Athens! 

Ani Lorak, runner-up from Eurovision 2008 with her song Shady Lady, will be send to Athens with her last month released song Medlenna, which is already a great hit. Will she will be second again? Or lower? Or higher? 


NORWAY - the country of the fjords in the north is joining us too!


Norway will also be participating in the End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest! They´re sending a beautiful song in their debut - Siri Nilsen will be present in Greece and will be singing the beautiful Passasjer and will be fully sung in Norwegian. Siri Nilsen is a popular singer and is praised by many professionals in Norway for always having quality songs. Will Europe appreciate her too? 


GREECE - Song Anouncement AND host city of the first edition!


Out of the draw of countries that were in the race to be the host city for this year´s End Of The Year Eurovision Song Contest, Greece has been chosen to be the host city for the first edition! Executive supervisor Timselvision anounced that Athens was chosen to be the host city of the first edition. He said the following at a press conforence regarding the host country: `Athens is a city of culture. In Greece you can find the roots of our civilisation nowadays. Arts is based on the old Greek culture, as are buildings. The first Olympic Games started in Athens. Culture and competition is a perfect thing to seek in a city like Athens.´ 

The Olympic Stadion will also be used as venue. This great antique venue will host the first edition and can carry at least 82.662 people. This venue is mostly used for sport events, but in some occasions also for concerts - like the End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest 2014! 



Afterwards that, the Greek representer was anounced. The country will be represented by the popular Greek singer Demy and Mike, who will sing the popular Greek song Oso o kosmos tha exei asena, was the #1 hit in Greece this year and they´re keen to wave the Greek flag. Will they keep the contest in Greece?
