GREECE - Song Anouncement AND host city of the first edition!


Out of the draw of countries that were in the race to be the host city for this year´s End Of The Year Eurovision Song Contest, Greece has been chosen to be the host city for the first edition! Executive supervisor Timselvision anounced that Athens was chosen to be the host city of the first edition. He said the following at a press conforence regarding the host country: `Athens is a city of culture. In Greece you can find the roots of our civilisation nowadays. Arts is based on the old Greek culture, as are buildings. The first Olympic Games started in Athens. Culture and competition is a perfect thing to seek in a city like Athens.´ 

The Olympic Stadion will also be used as venue. This great antique venue will host the first edition and can carry at least 82.662 people. This venue is mostly used for sport events, but in some occasions also for concerts - like the End of the Year Eurovision Song Contest 2014! 



Afterwards that, the Greek representer was anounced. The country will be represented by the popular Greek singer Demy and Mike, who will sing the popular Greek song Oso o kosmos tha exei asena, was the #1 hit in Greece this year and they´re keen to wave the Greek flag. Will they keep the contest in Greece?
